Terms

These terms cover the Relook plugin, this website, and the design service the plugin calls. Using any of them means you accept them.

What you get

Previewing is free. The six built-in looks are free to publish. A designed look costs one credit. You can preview any look on your own site for nothing, privately, as often as you like. The six looks that come with the plugin cost nothing to publish either. A look designed for your pages costs one credit, taken when the design starts and given back automatically if the design fails or is refused by our checks. A designed look is then yours on that site permanently: switching back to it later, or republishing after a rollback, never charges again.

Credits are prepaid, are attached to the site key that bought them, and do not expire. They are not transferable between sites and have no cash value.

A generation that our automatic checks refuse, or that fails, does not cost a credit. That is enforced in the code, not by asking us.

Nothing goes live without you

Any look, built in or designed for you, is a private candidate until you publish it. Only a logged-in administrator can see it before that. One click restores your original design at any time, and we never publish a look on your site for you.

What we check, and what we do not

Every look is rendered and measured: contrast against what is actually painted, layout overflow from 320 to 1280 pixels wide, and a check that no heading, link, or form field has been hidden or shrunk to nothing. The six built-in looks were put through this before we shipped them. A look designed for your site is put through it on your own rendered pages, and one that fails is refused rather than delivered.

Those checks are thorough but they are not a guarantee about every plugin, theme, and page on your site. You are the one who presses publish, so look at your site afterwards. If something is wrong, roll it back in one click and tell us.

Your content stays yours

We claim no ownership of your website, your text, or your images. The stylesheet generated for your site is yours to keep and to modify; it stays on your site even if you stop using the service.

Fair use

Use the service on sites you own or are authorised to change. Do not use it to imitate someone else's brand, to build anything unlawful, or to attack the service. We may refuse or withdraw service in those cases, and we will refund unspent credits if we do.

Liability

The service is provided as it is. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost sales while a design you published was live. Our total liability is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top says when they last changed. Credits you have already bought keep the terms they were bought under. Questions go to developer@relook.design.
